"We've had such a wonderful week in this glorious spot. At first the weather was 'fair' so we got out and about - enjoyed the variety in La Rochelle, the Marais Poitevin and the history of Saintes. As the week went by and the sun came out we slowed down and revelled in the peace and quiet of the house and pool. We enjoyed a good meal at the local restaurant, 'Les Sources du Moulin' at Migré.
